Welcome IAHU members and prospective members! I want to thank you all for your involvement with our great association. We have all realized over this past year that anything can happen. It is now our responsibility to work through this health care reform so we can deliver accurate information to our clients. Our association prides itself on our legislative efforts both on the federal and state level. We have people committed to our cause and we have excellent resources right at our fingertips. I hope that all of you have been getting your daily Newswires from NAHU and I hope that you are utilizing their website for all of the PPACA updates that they have been providing. This is the most important time for our industry and we need to make sure that we are educated and can intelligently discuss the reform with our peers, clients and the average American consumer. Staying up with all of the regulations as they come out is a job in and of itself. Let NAHU & IAHU help you be the trusted advisor.
We have our Annual Golf Event coming up September 2nd at Toad Valley in Pleasant Hill. We have a lot of fun activities planned for the day. For those of you that are non-golfers we will have mini golf and Wii golf for you to participate in. I hope to see a lot of you there. You won’t want to miss this event. Watch for more information to come.
